New leaflet from the Royal College of Nursing, outlining how client led and evidence based care can be used to meet the individual needs of disabled women during pregnancy and childbirth. Includes case studies examining different types of disability.

Distributed e-learning in Art, Design, Media (2007)

Cumbria Institute of the arts has conducted research into the current use of virtual learning environments and other learning technologies in these areas.

The Department of Health and the Public Health Observatories have just published health profiles for the whole of England. Each profile looks at the health issues within local areas including smoking, alcohol, homelessness, teen pregnancy, life expectancy and healthy eating. Handy summaries which will help you understand your local area and the influences that have and effect on healthcare needs.
