Breastfeeding: off to the best start - a new leaflet for expectant and new mothers on the benefits of breastfeeding, published by the Department of Health.

Diabetes in Pregnancy- the final report of the Confidential Enquiry into Maternal and Child Health (CEMACH) including key finding for women with type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

Perinatal Mortality- also from CEMACH, look at evidence for the major risks for perinatal mortality.

These are submitted to an online, peer reviewed journal – Conservation Evidence - which is freely available in html and in PDF formats. Also available are summaries of reports and published papers relating to conservation interventions. The site’s database can be searched or browsed.
