Calling all health and psychology people. For the next month we have a free trial of two really useful databases.
For everyone interested in health, nursing and midwifery we have access to CINAHL Full Text. This services offers us all the convenience of the new version of CINAHL combined with over 500 full text journals. This means you stand more chance of finding what you want, full text, without having to hunt around in numerous databases.
Secondly we have a month’s worth of PsycARTICLES. As the name suggests, this database contains the full text of psychology journals- 59 of ‘em. That’s over 100,000 articles. Titles include Developmental Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Health Psychology, History of Psychology and lots more.
Both databases are available via the usual route (go to Resources Online and click on Electronic Resources and E-Jnls). Staff will need your Athens passwords, students can access via the single sign-on. Have a look, have a search, find what interests you.
