Healthcare in Britain: how are we doing?

We’re coming up to Christmas, so it must be time for looking back and taking stock. Lo! and Behold! that’s just what the NHS and the Health Commission have done. Take a look atthe following reports on the state of healthcare in the UK:

Review of Children’s Services: from the Healthcare Commission, the first in a series of four reviews of different aspects of healthcare. Assesses services in relation to the National Service Framework for Children and Young People’s Services.

Annual Health Check 2006/2007: again from the Healthcare Commission, this report assesses and rates the NHS across standards of safety, patient focus and clinical effectiveness.
