The newly created Department for Communities and Local Government (formerly the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister) have a new website including a large section on housing and related issues. The housing page looks at lots of different areas including sustainable communities, buying and selling, social housing and housing management.
Also of note, the Social Care Institute for Excellence have published a report on the Impact of Environmental Housing Conditions on the Health and Well Being of Children. This includes details of housing conditions- over one million children in the UK live in housing that is sub-standard or unfit to live in.
