As you will all know, the complete list of print and electronic journals available to staff and students at UW can be found at our A-Z list. This service lists every journal we have (well over 9000 e-journals and over 1000 print titles). You can search for a specific title or browse by subject.
Two new packages have recently been added to the list:
Open J-Gate – a huge bundle of freely available full text titles covering a whole range of subjects taught at UW.
Science Direct Web Editions – the last year’s worth full text of a number of titles we also subscribe to in print, covering nursing, midwifery, psychology, environmental science and life sciences. These include the Journal of Neonatal Nursing, Nurse Education Today, Cognitive Psychology and Current Biology. Note that this is a rolling subscription i.e. you only get access to the last calendar year, so if you’re after an article published 11 months ago, go a download it before it disappears. Print subscriptions of these journals continue as normal.
