Not the most thrilling of topics, I know, but the Department of Health is aiming to make finding national health and social care statistics a little easier with the launch of the new Information Catalogue for health and social care. With the noble aims of reducing bureaucracy and eliminating duplication, the site offers access to reports and statistics published by national bodies including the Healthcare Commission, the Department of Health, the Social Care Commission and NHS regulators. The site is small as yet, but growing. One to keep your eye on.
