New from the National Patient Safety Agency, we have Please Ask, a site for NHS patients to get information and share their experiences of their care. Topics include 'Top Ten Tips for Safer Patients', 'About Staying in Hospital' and 'Children: Easing your Worries'. It is possible for patients to contact the NPSA with feedback and questions. All this, and interviews with Carol Smillie and Gary Lineker too. What more could you want?

Sleep on the back, play on the front

As part of Baby Safety Week, the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths has published a new leaflet encouraging mothers to make sure their babies 'sleep on the back and play on the front' to avoid both sudden infant death syndrome and flat head syndrome. Useful for the public and those involved in farming, the environment or health care.
